The Championship Series is the marquee event for TYFA. It is a 3-Event series that is the culmination of more than 5¾ months of hard work and devotion from the players, cheerleaders, volunteers, and parents.
The Championship Series is the State Competitions for both Cheerleading and Football. It is comprised of a State Cheer Competition where all the participating cheerleaders get 2½ minutes to display the skills they learned and practiced. Following that is the Division 1 and Division 2 State Football Championships (9 games in all). In these games, the football players display the skills they have learned over the month of pre-season practice, the 8 regular season games and 5 to 6 post-season games they have played leading up to the State Championships.
All age brackets for both Cheer and Football get to compete for a State Championship.
